Premier Turfing was founded in 2006 by father-and-son team Robert and Ian Mawer. What began as a local Lincolnshire business has grown into one of the UK's leading sports turf contractors, delivering specialist construction, renovation and maintenance projects across the UK and Europe. As we celebrate our 20th year in business, we remain proud of how far we've come while staying true to the values on which the company was built.
With farming in their blood, Robert and Ian have spent their lives working the land and developing a deep understanding of soils, drainage and the importance of producing high-quality turf. Having owned and operated their own golf course, the transition into sports turf construction was a natural progression, combining practical experience with a passion for creating exceptional playing surfaces.
