Hybrid turf technology has transformed the performance and durability of natural sports pitches, combining the playing characteristics of natural grass with the strength and resilience of synthetic reinforcement. Premier Turfing has extensive experience in the installation, renovation and maintenance of hybrid carpet systems, particularly the Hero Hybrid system supplied in the UK by County Turf. Unlike stitched hybrid systems, Hero Hybrid consists of a pre-manufactured carpet of synthetic fibres laid over a carefully prepared rootzone before being infilled with specialist sand and seeded with natural grass. As the grass establishes, its root structure binds with the synthetic carpet to create a reinforced natural playing surface that delivers exceptional durability, consistent performance and outstanding drainage.
